AI motion detection works well

AI motion detection for vehicles works very well. I haven't set it up for people yet. The time-lapse function did not work with the Android Reolink app. I contacted tech support and they responded very quickly. They asked me to try some older versions of the app and send some app crash reports to their software developers for evaluation. In the end they admitted that there was a bug in the application that they will hopefully fix in the next version. You said time lapse works with the iPhone app. I found it refreshing that the company actually takes responsibility and cares about something like this. Otherwise, the Android and Windows apps work well for live view, SD card playback, setting changes, and firmware updates. Running the Windows app allows you to save longer videos directly to your computer's hard drive and capture snapshots and live video. I have two Reolink cameras and one I have installed on a remote controlled solar powered cart that overlooks my garden. It is connected through a bridged router. I was surprised that the video quality and playback worked so well considering I'm using older routers. I powered this remote system from a direct 12V connection. In another camera I use POE via internet cable. Nice that there are both options. I don't usually turn off the infrared LEDs, but when they're on, they illuminate a large area. The construction of this camera is solid and of high quality. With this new version, the angle can be easily adjusted with just one clamping ring. But one of the rings on the camera was so tight that I had to loosen it with pliers. The other chamber could be unscrewed by hand. So overall a good product and great support from the company.
