We love all the NERF stuff in our house and with two busy boys aged 8 and 6 we get a lot out of our NERF gear. This Driveway Tennis Set is an interesting product from a brand better known for making toy blasters than tennis rackets. First off, my wife and I don't let our kids play indoors with this tennis set. Although it is designed to be played both indoors and outdoors. Indoor tennis games with this set can never end well in our house. The ball is soft but light and heavy enough to break things or knock things off shelves. Bats are plastic, but hitting something and breaking it is easy enough. A yard or driveway is a much better alternative and that's where my kids played with this set. That works well enough. My kids are already interested in tennis, so they have legal racquets and tennis balls, so the NERF set serves as (pun intended!) our supplementary set for when their friends come over to play.
