My device was great, but then it wasn't

To my dismay, my speaker worked fine for about 1 month, then a few days ago I connected the charging cable to it as usual and I had NO red light showed that it simmered, I took out my flashlight, looked at the charging connector and wow, the socket dented and broke. I mean it was a relatively cheap device but it failed in a short time so no. I can't give a big review.
