Last May my wife and I started kickboxing (heavy bags) to help us lose weight and build muscle. With Covid we lost luggage and lost progress. We finally broke down and were given a few items to help including this mat. We use it in addition to our other training methods. So far we think it's working great for us. We're still getting used to the size and our comfort when pedaling. It's a good size but for 2 adults 5ft 7ft 5ft 5in it's ok but we have to be very careful. It would be great for children. For taller people, I'm not sure you'll be comfortable with the size. It's a nice thickness, but we feel it more than with our batting gloves. In general we use it and we like it and it's well made, but we also have an average skill level. I don't think it will work for more advanced shots or even higher shots. We are happy with it and what we need.
