I didn't know it was PVC when I ordered it, otherwise I probably would have thrown it away. It is a great teaching and learning tool for martial arts students. My granddaughter benefits greatly from his virtual learning by having it at home, but I'm really not comfortable with the material it's made of. I hate the fact that PVC is a known toxin and I would prefer TPR or Vinyl for this blocking pad. Either way, it's fine as long as you don't mind the risks associated with PVC.

Okay full disclosure. I received this item for free in exchange for an honest review. Anyone who has ever practiced boxing, karate or any other martial art has seen bags like this. That's a great bag. It's strong and quite tough. The handles are comfortable and thick. In general, the thing is really high quality. Whether you need a spare bag for the gym or dojo, or just want to work out at home, this is the bag to get. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

Bought this mat because gyms are closed during the pandemic. Unfortunately I haven't used it much yet as I lacked a training partner who could hold it properly for me lol. It's a little less soft compared to similar pads we use in the gym so probably won't stand up to the rigors of a commercial gym, but it looks like it'll still hold up for home use. I wish it had a handle on top which would be useful for holding kicks and maneuvering the pod holder as a whole from one position to another. This

Last May my wife and I started kickboxing (heavy bags) to help us lose weight and build muscle. With Covid we lost luggage and lost progress. We bought this for my husband and I to help our 16 year old with his basketball protection. I like it because it gives me a wider stance which makes it more of a challenge for a 16 year old who is a foot taller than me and in great shape to protect me. This allows me to increase my size on the court. My husband who is about the same height as our son only uses it to push our son into the seat without hurting his shoulders!
