October 2019 After using this mouse for 4 months, it started double-clicking the left mouse button. Given the fact that the original M100 lasted 3-4 months, I'm really surprised that this mouse struggled in such a short amount of time. I get a replacement from Revain, Logitech said they can't ship to where I live (what?) but I have to downgrade this rating from 5 to 2 for lack of durability. Considering how I bought the M100 a few years ago and it has lasted for several years, I am very disappointed with the B100's early failure. Yes it is a cheap mouse but considering it comes with a 2 year warranty you would expect the mouse to last a little over 4 months. I bought this mouse to replace a Logitech M100 that had annoying buttons. double click thing. It disrupted my workflow. There is a video on how to fix it, but since these things are difficult to fix because all these components are so small, I decided to just get a replacement. NOTE: If you are wondering what is the difference between M100 and B100 - they are the same mouse. The M100 comes in retail packaging (plastic packaging that usually needs to be cut through). However, B100 is a bulk/corporate pack, ie a plain box with a few inserts. In other words, if you really don't want to buy that retail bundle, you'll save $1 or $2 buying the B100. I'm really surprised that some reviewers complain that the mouse feels "cheap". It's an $8 mouse, of course it's cheap. Mice in this price range are a dime a dozen. You don't get high quality mice in this range. You get functionality that will last you for years to come. The number one questions to ask yourself about mice in this area is whether they're doing their job, and yes, they are. This is a cheap optical mouse. The tracking is "good enough" for business use, because all mice, even in this price range, have optical tracking instead of the previous ball tracking. The mouse is so simple that it does not require any special drivers, just plug and play. The keys are a bit noisy, but that should be reflected in the price range. The ergonomics are comfortable and of course suitable for both left- and right-handers. The scroll wheel "clicks" and makes an audible noise when scrolling. Several people here have said that they are used to "smoothing" scroll wheels. So if that bothers you, try pricier mice for smoother scrolling. There are many other mouse brands in this price range and they're built similarly, but if you want a mouse from a brand you know, you really can't go wrong with this Logitech mouse. He's doing his job. Don't expect anything outstanding from him.
