UPDATE x3: The manufacturer was very kind and offered a replacement. The cable doesn't exit the USB port, for which I'm upping the rating. I noticed that they also specifically stated that 5 'different' cards can work - I'm a little disappointed that the same type of card can't work at the same time, but I'm glad their customer service was so accurate. UPDATE x2: I'm chatting with support. They communicated well with me, for which I am very grateful. I'll let you know how it goes. UPDATE: I received an email from tech support saying "5 DIFFERENT cards work in it". - My iMac and Macbook Pro randomly disconnects - even without touching anything. I almost lost some very valuable recordings I was sending when it stopped mid-stream. "Horizontal bars" on the side make it difficult to find ports. (Ports are hidden in "valleys". A simple flat surface would be nice, because then the ports won't be covered.) - Super short cable - great for laptops, but for everything else - eg an iMac computer. - it just dangles, which means there is an increased chance that one of the non-matching SD cards will be disabled. - Only accepts 2 cards at a time - does not "read up to 5 cards at a time" as the listing says. Hope they fix that.
