If I have a negative it's because it's quite light and tends to slide on the countertop. Annoying when cutting a lot of packets, but that's just a minor detail and not a real problem. I bought this specifically for cutting bags out of a roll of vacuum plastic and it works great: lift bar, insert plastic, adjust length, stroke, repeat. The benefit of cutting your own bags is to reduce waste: why use a liter bag when you only need half a liter? It also saves money. This little tailor is perfect. If it cuts plastic easily, it will certainly handle paper or cardboard as well. Highly recommended.
