Works great compared to my existing meat thermometer
I put this thermometer up against a meat thermometer I've been using for a few years and it was just as quick to respond in terms of temperature readings as they were always within 1 degree (Fahrenheit ) lie apart. My other thermometer isn't fancy, it was probably around $20, but this one was cheaper and worked just as well! My only minor complaint about it is that the magnet on the back is pretty weak and the surface is slick so it sometimes slips off my thermometer. Fridge a little if I keep it aside.
