Check after unpacking!

The first day after unpacking the scale I tried everything to make it work: fully charged battery, placed on a flat granite surface, calibrated 3 times. Nothing I've tried could undo it. Tara didn't work. The weight is far away and not repeated. Eventually I decided to return it and got to the point where I received a return label. Then I thought I'd go through it again to see if I missed anything. In short, a tiny piece of metal tape was found between the shiny metal scale and the top of the plastic case. Removed with small tweezers. After that everything worked fine. Calibrated OK. The tare button only takes a few seconds. The scale goes off after about 3-4 seconds. As expected, it was affected by turning on the oven, but when it was turned off, it immediately went out and the tare weight went back to zero. actual weighing and use another scale for verification. A downside for this purpose is that it is advertised as being accurate to 0.001 grams, which is 0.015 grains. However, if you switch the mode from grams to thousandths to grains, only tenths are displayed. Doesn't sound like much, but when you're working with a difference between 3.2 and 3.3 grains (32 Auto) or 4.6 and 4.8 grains (0.455 Webley), more accuracy is important. By converting grains to grams, I can use the scale to within half a tenth of a grain. This would at least tell me if the charge is closer to 3.2 or 3.3. I checked the scales at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 50 grains. For 5 grains it is within 1.4%. For 10 grains, it is within 0.4%. The remainder was within 0.2%. This combined with the fast damping speed makes the tool very useful. If there was an extra digit (hundredths) in grit mode, this would be a 5 star tool!
