Review on 4 Slice Stainless Steel Toaster - CUSIBOX with Bagel, Defrost, Cancel Function, Extra Wide Slots, 6 Bread Shade Settings, 1650W, Black by Robert Layne

We are big users of Revain because things like toasters (and MANY other things) are not available in Costa Rica. We ship from Revain to the Miami Export Service, they charge additional freight, service fees and duties/taxes and then ship the item to their warehouse which is approximately 15 miles away where we can pick it up. So this toaster cost us almost $100. Looks beautiful. Worked well for 3 cycles counting the burnout cycle. This morning on use #4 the left side works fine but the right side won't stay down ie put the bread in, squeeze the handle, the light comes on, the heater starts but the handle won't lock. Just take a look. 3 x 2 slices of toast divided by $100. WOW! THIS IS AN EXPENSIVE TOAST! I am very disappointed and angry. We took a close look at the reviews of all available toasters. Now I'm screwed and there's no toaster. Update from wife: I think it was operator error. I've used it twice, on both sides, once to defrost and once to toast English muffins. Both times it works perfectly.
