Small trash cans around the house are for convenience only, as my mom told me: you should put papers, paper napkins, and other harmless trash in them, not dirty, wet trash or (horrible!) food waste. I guess I haven't practiced these rules hard enough in my own home because my kids often break the rules and the result is a dirty trash can that someone has to clean out. My purchase of these supplements is proof that I have almost given up fighting for a just cause on this issue. These liners fit all of our round bathroom trash cans, as well as the small rectangular trash cans and bins in my office. There's enough overlap at the top so they don't just curl up into a jar. The tabs are suitable for tying a full bag. The scent is pleasantly fresh and strong when you first take it out of the box; In a small bathroom I can still smell the aroma, but I don't think it's going to really overpower something smelly (which shouldn't even be thrown in the little bins, remember?). My only star because I really hate the way they look. On a solid white trash can, they are less repulsive, but on anything else they only spoil the look of the decor. Of course, if you have a trash can with an inner sleeve, these bags can be put inside. I bought them mainly for the Febreze factor, next time I'll probably look for a transparent case.
