Review on ๐Ÿ”ง KYB Excel-G Gas Shock Absorber, Black (349203) by Steve Rohde

Shocking truth!

Every stock and OEM replacement Toyota/Lexus shock on my 2010 RX350 leaked between 20-30,000 miles. Too early for the easy freeway ride I'm doing. Eventually I started looking for something better and found it. Lastly, I installed a pair of KYB 349203 Excel-G shocks. Significant improvement in ride and handling, even with reduced road noise at road seams. They each cost a few dollars more than the Lexus dealer's OEM shocks, but as mentioned earlier, they were vastly superior in comfort. The Lexus dealer service department didn't mind installing these "aftermarket" mufflers. My impression is that they are aware that the original shock absorbers they sell for my car are of poor quality.

Pros
  • Still like all
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was
