So far I love this nose ring. You need to bend it because the hook is small and you can't hook it properly. This results in you not getting enough flex to slide through the straight part. The gold is soft. Be careful. Pull out the hook to make it longer. It won't be that curved, but that's ok. As long as you don't pull it, it stays. It's not the best I've bought, but it's good. Just take your time to bend the hook and don't bend the straight part at all.
