Setup seemed easy, but I never got a 'test passed' message after connecting to Wi-Fi. Looking at some of the suggestions, I made sure to connect to a 2.4GHz WiFi network, but it made no difference. I ignored the testing issue when the data appeared in the Davis cloud and in my application. After 6-7 days of stable operation of the device (it still showed that the network connection was not working), the device turned off. I reset it and went through the setup a few times with different network settings (5GHz, 2.4GHz, static, DHCP, etc.). it will work for a few minutes but then shut down. I sent an email to Davis Support explaining the various error codes I was getting but never got a response. Finally Revane gave it back and looked for an alternative solution.
