My beverage cooler control never worked properly and would always switch back to a higher temperature when the power went out. After looking at a few controllers I bought one and installed it in a Hammond 1591ESBK ABS project box. Although the relay is rated for 10 amps, I used an extra relay (which I had) to keep the compressor safe. I wasn't able to get to my installed sensor to swap it out, but after doing some research I found that it was an NTC sensor (the same as the one that comes with the controller). I measured the resistance and it matched the new one, so I just plugged in an extension cord and tried it. This might not be recommended, but it worked great. Plugging in was easy but I see I'm an electrician. Programming is easy (just read the instructions carefully) and is similar to other programs I've programmed before. Easy to change temperature and differential settings
