Description of 🌡️ Inkbird ITC1000 Dual Stage Digital Temperature Control Thermostat- Heating Cooling Relay with ℃ ℉ Display for 3D Printer, Freezer, Fridge, Hatching and More (110V)

It does indeed read in deg F. Can control both heating and cooling output. Has an alarm to indicate sensor failure or high temperature. Highly accurate and reliable temperature controller. Be more user friendly than the STC-1000.

Easy to program and works great.

My beverage cooler control never worked properly and would always switch back to a higher temperature when the power went out. After looking at a few controllers I bought one and installed it in a Hammond 1591ESBK ABS project box. Although the relay is rated for 10 amps, I used an extra relay (which I had) to keep the compressor safe. I wasn't able to get to my installed sensor to swap it out, but after doing some research I found that it was an NTC sensor (the same as the one that comes with…

The sensor is quick to respond, all menus work fine in F or C mode

I used it to control a small heater in a 3D printer case and it works great in this application. The heater draws about 8 amps and I haven't noticed any problems with the relay in a few days on this draw. The interface is intuitive but the icons they use for options are no, don't throw away the datasheet. what is part of it! The only thing that surprised me (in a good way) is that the sensor is a little plastic knot at the end of the cable and is *very* responsive because it's so light I use…

I have a problem!

I just installed this device and I'm having a problem with it. Switching from C to F went smoothly. BUT when I set it to temperature to turn on my 120 volt main fan, the relay in the unit just clicks, clicks, clicks. Quite a quick click, it seems the fan is working. I don't know if it's full throttle or not. When I raise the temperature again it stops, but so does this fan. It should click ON only when it reaches the set value. What's going on here? It's not that hard to connect. I am attaching

Works flawlessly! Best Temp & Humidity

I have a gas water heater that is vented by a 4 inch duct in the chimney that sometimes experiences a "downdraft" of cold air, causing the water heater exhaust gases to escape. The problem is that I have a radon fan that is already sucking ambient air out of the house and while it's on it tends to suck heavy cold outside air into the water heater chimney flue. Then when the water heater comes on, it blows hot exhaust air down into the basement. I set this up so that it shuts off the radon fan…

Works well, easy to connect

Celsius digital thermostat only. Works great, price is right. I use it to turn on and off a lightbulb in a heating box that keeps the box at a constant temperature, but it's perfect for that. It has two power relays 10 amps 120 volts: one for heating, one for cooling. The heater relay switches on (closes the circuit) when the supplied sensor indicates that the temperature is 0.5°C below the set temperature. This setting is adjustable. The relay remains closed until the set temperature is…

Great controller

**Edit** It's been about 2 years and I had to buy a replacement. The original one I bought got soaked and stopped working. It wasn't the fault of the block but where I installed it. The new block is no different from the old. I replaced it and the new one works great again. Still a great buy. This controller can't be beat for the price. I have a small hot tub with an old manual temperature control that didn't show the temperature. It became inaccurate with age so I bought it as a spare. Packed…

Used this in place of my old fridge's thermostat

I used this after the thermostat for our old side by side fridge failed. (I replaced it about 3 years later with one from the Revain market that was about $26.) The one at the appliance parts store was about $65. So I bought a 4x4 PVC junction box at a local H.Depot store and installed it on top of the fridge where the old thermostat was. I drilled 2 holes in the bottom of the box and in the top of the fridge. One for power and one for temperature sensor. I inserted plastic tubing into the…

The third time is magical

Ugh, cut the existing thermostat out of my freezer, checked all my voltages and whatnot with my multimeter and hooked up this new thermostat. Oops, bad solder joint on the "cooling side" of the terminals. The whole block just fell into the case before I even put the wire in. Pooh. Guess I'll have to order another one as my new freezer is now dead in the garage. Ordered a second unit to replace the faulty first, just turned on the 110VAC input and the display only showed meaningless characters…

Precise control: test, measure and verify

After trying two refrigerator controllers, I installed this digital box. I needed this to control a beverage cooler. After figuring out the circuit, I ran it and everything worked. When the refrigerant reaches 40.0°F, this unit turns off the compressor and when the range of 5° at 45.0° is reached, this control turns the compressor back on. I have a 2 minute delay on the compressor for safety reasons. Much more than the small refrigerator ex works. Now for my complaint. While this device holds…

Pros
  • More convenient to use than STC-1000
Cons

I live in Florida and during quarantine decided I wanted to try growing peppers and onions in my office closet. I've spent the last 4 weeks buying all sorts of hydroponic solutions trying to figure out why my plants have always been closer to death than they are to life. Revane (https://amzn.to/3acGSqG). Little did I know that due to the Florida heat and my small pantry, the RDWC could actually cook your plants when the pump is not running due to the water that resides in the hydroponic system.

Pros
  • Has an alarm indicating sensor failure or high temperature
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
