Review on Standard Motor Products EGV818 Valve by Jason Cho

Good part for the money! I bought this for my 2001 Chrysler Town and Country which had a very rough idle. The engine randomly stalled and after some trial and error I noticed that the EGR valve was very old and rusty. After I replaced this part, the van is much better and the gas consumption has increased. The part went in like a breeze as it bolted directly to the top of the engine on the 2001 model. Later Town and Country and Dodd Caravan models have this part just to the left of the engine compartment. It's actually easier to switch in the 2001 model year than any other subsequent year for either a Dodge or Chrysler.
