These mirrors fit our 2004 Excursion perfectly and are very secure, however the wing mirrors vibrate quite a bit which makes them difficult to use at high speeds. If you just need a set of mirrors to avoid fines and really don't want to rely on your trailer's mirrors, they're fine and an economical alternative to bolt-on folding mirrors for your truck. I plan to try putting foam behind the mirrors to see if that dampens the vibrations. Visit MovingToAmerica(Dot)me to see these mirrors in action on our Ford field trip. We constantly travel around the United States on bikes with my family, so I have relatively high standards for the parts I buy.
