I bought this heatsink with no expectations. The product feels great, it's real aluminum, it doesn't feel cheap. This fits into the PS5 NVMe slot, but you can't put the cover back on it. With all that thermal padding, it elevates it high enough not to let it fit. You can get away with adding a minimal shim, but that doesn't guarantee it will fit on the cap, nor does it guarantee the heatsink will work efficiently in the process. cover up. It actually looks like this will provide the best cooling for the NVMe drive, giving the SSD the best performance. I'm concerned about the dust collection area which makes the dust cover unnecessary. Most likely in the future I'll buy a 10mm (tall) heatsink to replace it just because I want to use a dust cover to clear the huge accumulation of dust on the motherboard regardless of the holes provided to use a vacuum cleaner to remove them . I'm writing this at the time of the release of the PS5 beta which I have access to use the NVMe drive so the heatsinks are a bit gone apart from a lot of options that I was able to buy and get quickly.
