Review on 🚡 Optimized for SEO: RaceFace Atlas Bike Stem for Mountain Biking by Stephen Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A killer stem for your mountain bike

This is an extremely durable and stylish stem for your mountain bike. Besides its high functionality, it has a lot of mojo. And the wavy line graphics look better than the photos. It is quick to assemble and easy to retrofit for your mountain bike. I switched from the 90mm stem that came with my bike (Bianchi) to this 50mm jobber which moved the handlebars about 1.5 inches closer to me and I'm much more comfortable now. But don't pass me by, find what's comfortable for you. There are some good videos on YouTube to help you choose a new stem. The videos were helpful to me, but you don't have to believe everything they say. There seem to be a few theories as to how stem length can affect your bike's handling, depending on how you ride. It seems to me that the level of Raceface components in Atlas is higher than some others, but you pay for it. I also bought the monstrous Atlas Giant flat pedals, but that's another review.
