These cases feel very comfortable and have so far protected me well from scrapes and scratches. I like to keep my wallet, keys and pen in one pocket (if I don't have a shirt pocket) so my phone is separate in another pocket. This works well for disposable pens but I wanted something that would protect my fountain pens from keys and these sleeves have worked very well for that purpose. They are perfect for my pens which are a typical size but if you have an extra long handle they may not fit. However, thick handles should not pose a problem during installation. For size comparison, my Pilot Metro fits about an inch of extra space in front of the string. It ties easily and luckily there are two different strings so you can't have one side longer than the other which would drive me crazy. I have five of these in coffee color and they look dated and give a nice classic look as I was hoping for, like old leather. really just a result of how soft they are. Delivery was faster than expected but still quite long. As we are from China, delivery windows are very wide, but you may receive your package a little earlier than stated.
