Certain critical parts are made of thin plastic

The latches are easy to install and the spring is very strong. Unfortunately, one of the latches in this set broke on installation.Update. Bought two more sets of latches (total of 4 pair). Another latch broke in the same spot so, 1/4 of the latches broke in a very weak plastic part of the latch. I like how strong the springs are and the metal shell of the latch. The two plastic pieces that are extended by the spring could have been made with a light weight metal in lieu of cheap plastic.If it were not for the metal shell and strong spring, I would give this item two stars.
