This is a great tool to use. daily to loosen scar tissue and warm up muscles before exercise. It's a titanium tool heavy enough to penetrate grooves in tissue. This is a professional level that is certainly in line with what I have experienced in physical therapy sessions. The instrument literally has a "double-edged blade" and is therefore a well-known double-edged sword in the sportsman's repertoire; On the plus side, it warms tissues and relieves discomfort, but on the negative side, I'm always looking for my titanium instrument.
