Played racquetball for 40 years. I thought I would like this game and that it would be a good family game, but I didn't want to risk a lot of money. The paddles worked great. That being said, these paddles need a little improvement, so you can buy better paddles ahead of time. The leash is too short. The handles are generally oval rather than round. Based on the official paddle size guidelines, these paddles are a bit difficult. Bottom line: if you have some coordination, you can make them work well and have a good time. But if you're going to be playing a lot, treat yourself to something that's a step ahead.
