Review on π DB Electrical SSW0015 Tachometer Proofmeter for Ford 8N Tractor (1950-1952) - Compatible with / Replaces 8N17360A1 86520180 by Ryan Richards
NOT SO ORIGINAL FOR 8N!
The Proofmeter looks good and works like a tachometer. for a few minutes (that's all I ran) BUT THE HOUR METER IS NOT mechanically controlled like the original in 8N and requires an additional connection to the battery to function. Maybe this is made for a later model NAA? I also don't know if it's 6 or 12 volts - there was no documentation with the device. I've searched and haven't found an ORIGINAL mechanical gauge, all that's available is electrical. Hour meter model. other than used. (I took mine apart and remade - not easy)
