There are few downsides to this product. I was very happy with the look. The only problem I have is the rocker switch cable. It's very short, maybe 4 feet. My Chevrolet has the battery on the opposite side of the driver's side, so I had to lengthen the wires to get the rocker switch where I wanted it. It's not that important. Another thing I noticed is that power goes from your direct 12V supply to the LED backlight on the rocker switch itself, which is why the light comes on. Don't use it. Take a pair of wire cutters and cut it off. Leaving it on drains the battery. Just run a wire from your light dimmer that's in your car so you don't drain your battery. Overall I'm very happy I was able to route the wire harness to my front bumper to connect to my LED strip. For the price of a $5 relay and a $2 fuse holder, it was worth it. It gave me a great start and I had the handlebars and suspension installed in 1 hour.
