They look good and hopefully are more eco-friendly than plastic forks, but they break fairly easily. When eating, the head often detaches from the handle if significant pressure is applied. If it were a spoon it might not be such a big problem, but since it's a fork it's a pretty serious drawback. I didn't notice the fragments until, of course, the head fell off completely. However, it's nice to have a true throwaway fork on hand. I would say it's better than nothing. When they run out I'll find another brand to try. 2 or 3 stars out of 5.
