Make sure you really like pure geranium essential oil because that's what it smells like. The smell is not overpowering and I don't like it. It's a bit strong for me, but that's probably because I don't like geraniums on their own. I love rose geranium essential oil, it's wonderful. But the simple scent of geranium is the scent you really have to like to enjoy this deodorant. I appreciate natural ingredients and still prefer them to aluminum deodorants/antiperspirants. This works fine, but if you're a heavy sweater or an athlete; I can't say for sure if that will help you. But what I can say is this: A doctor once found aluminum in my body when I was utterly exhausted and racked with pain, from warmth to my toes, and I knew it was the antiperspirant I was taking always wore. it's so bad for you I continued to use deodorant because I didn't know any better at the time. But now we have more natural and safer alternatives and you should benefit from them. The company replaced this deodorant with a glass version featuring bergamot and lime, and I really like the scent. Schmidt's customer service is excellent and that counts.
