Review on Oster Cordless Electric Bottle Opener by Drew Poulin

When I first saw this wine opener I was like, I have to make this. I was in heaven after purchasing this item, wine bottles are easy to open, the foil cutter is fantastic and I love the long one battery life of this knife. I loved this product so much I bought several as gifts for friends/family members. After 6 months the 'down' button (which removes the cork from the bottle) no longer works as it is known that Oster, aka Sunbeam Products, aka Jarden Consumer Solutions has a 1 year limited warranty (listed in the product manual). I wasn't worried. I emailed customer service about my issue and 3 weeks later I received a reply asking for information on how to process my return. The same day I reply to an email with all the requested information, another week goes by with no reply. I email customer support to make sure they received my email with all my information and they not only informed me that they received my email but that the product was "no longer available". under guarantee”. I have replied to customer service using the exact words from their manual that their product is covered by a one year warranty and I have yet to receive a response. So if you're considering buying this corkscrew, keep looking for something else. This is not for you.TLDR; Do not buy this product, it is poorly made and the customer service is not interested in honoring its warranty.
