I have ordered two of these lights. Insert new batteries in both. One worked. one not. Being an electrical engineer I have tools for troubleshooting and repairing. I disassembled the headlight and found a broken wire. This had to be captured at the factory before shipping. There is no quality control. The wire was too short after soldering, so the next person in line broke it off and connected the two halves. After checking out the inner workings of this flashlight, it shouldn't cost as much as it is. Battery connectors, switch, LED, resistor, wire, case. Very cheap components. Made in China.
