I read the warnings in these reviews and washed mine first. And the three black ones I got turned the dishwater dark black in a second. Wash first. The material is very light and I use mine as a second layer of protection under my Covid-19 mask. They are far less irritating to my face than the mask and make the whole situation more comfortable and also give me a double layer of particle protection to seal any cracks between my face and the mask. Overall recommended but don't expect too much. They were good value for money.
