Do not buy these alarms. I did some research to find the best alarm system for my home. They have the best sensor and great reviews, but be warned there are many complaints about them tweeting at times. It's always unexpected to get an alarm clock, but at 2am it sucks. And when my 11-year-old golden retriever wakes up because he's scared of fireworks and other loud noises, it keeps you awake for hours. I reset the alarms and then turned them off one at a time. Each of the alarms will sound three times at a specific time: 8:00am, 2:40pm, 3:00am, etc. First Alert guarantees a $6.50 defective product, but why pay for more defective alarms? I went back to the old alarm clocks and no longer chirped or scared the dogs.
