I bought this to ease symptoms of shingles on my scalp and it works great for me. It's soft so it doesn't feel abrasive, and the temp of the packs is perfect. I tried to use only 2 packs at a time since the rash is only on one side, and I wanted to have 2 cold ones to switch off to, but it felt too lopsided so I just use all 4 at once. I have other packs not made for this that will work while these are re-freezing, so no biggie, although they're not a perfect fit. The only drawback is how tough it is to get the frozen packs into the pockets without a struggle. They are so cold I have to wear gloves to handle them. I decided to snip a little bit of material from each edge of the pockets and it helps a lot. They still stay in place while the cap is on, so I would recommend this fix if your having that issue.
