I recently got hold of a used cat climber that is being offered for free for over $200. I just had to clean it up a bit for my cats. When I disassembled it to clean the fabric and spray on some deodorant I found a few items my climber needs and one of which I assumed was a hammock! I found 3 hooks at the very bottom (one was missing which I am replacing) but that was causing the wheels to spin. I was hoping to search the internet for the climber to see if it originally came with the hammock. When I saw it was there I knew I had to order it to complete the enrichment for my children. I had many options to choose from, but chose this one for a number of reasons. First, this is not an animal print. THANK YOU SO MUCH! The print of the fish was actually pretty and not flashy in color. I wasn't sure what was small or large compared to my new climber so I went with the large one as I figured going large was better than getting something too small as I was raising cats and not small at all! Also, I wanted to stay away from those beige fluffy bedding as cat hair tends to accumulate and after so many washes things just don't look or feel great. I strongly suspect that this fabric will hold up VERY well. If I get tired of the fish print, I can exchange it. It arrived on time. The fabric is pleasant to the touch and very durable, as are the adjustable shoulder straps. I had to adjust all 4 sides to keep it from hanging too low. The only thing I hate is the solid metal clasps used for hanging. I hate these types of clips as they can pinch when in use and generally don't look as pretty as lobster clasps/lobster clasps. This is the only thing I would change about this product to make it PERFECT. Even small carabiners look better than fixed loop buttons. In the future I may decide to remove the fixed loop fasteners myself.
