[Update 2] Having a paper shredder and getting used to only shredding one or two sheets of paper at a time, the shredder works great. The downside is that the company keeps emailing me gift card offers to make this a five star rating or remove my review. I think people should be aware that 5 star reviews can be unreliable. This is a good shredder but for very light use. =========== This shredder doesn't kill plain credit card spam. It gets stuck and freezes too easily and doesn't come off easily. ===========[Update 1] The company contacted me and offered to send a replacement for the returned one. The company indicated that it may have been damaged in transit. Although I had the same problem with the replacement, it was my fault. I was hoping this would get rid of unwanted credit card emails which might contain thicker terms and conditions brochures. When I open the junk mail and carefully delete it in small batches, the shredder works great. The only problem I have now is when it stops because the paper is too thick. If you turn around to pull out the paper, some scraps will come with you and clog the machine. This is a VERY light car, nothing big and nothing for a long time. It's a good car for what it is, you know, it's just a simple job.
