Review on Rugged Ridge 61238 02 Roller Fairlead by Steven Harmon

If you look at the picture this item appears to be a decent size. If you read the manufacturer's answers to the questions, they will confirm the image as to why I purchased this item for my custom purposes. How I laughed when I saw what a small box! It fits in the palm of your hand. It's NOT 6 inches wide, it's barely 5 inches, and the opening between all 4 reels is frankly tiny. Here is the actual size measured with a tape measure so no one else has to waste time buying this item because of the lack of proper description and incorrectly answered questions. Mounting holes center to center 4 1/4 in. Gap between upper and lower roller. 5/8 "The distance between the left and right rollers is 1 1/4" This is very small. If it suits your application then it's probably a good product, looks well built and has some weight. However, if you buy it based on the brief description and the manufacturer's answers that say the distance between the wheels is 4 inches and the overall width is 6 inches, unfortunately you will be disappointed. Mine is coming back today.
