I have a passion for electronics that puts other Helping Hands to shame. The build quality is excellent, the base is heavy gauge steel and powder coated (nice thick coat) with rubber feet under the top. The flexible arms look like nickel-sized neodymium magnets and even come with anti-slip pads for the bases so you don't tear up the pretty yellow finish. The ends of the clamps are stainless steel and the rotation can be locked with a knurled lock nut and also includes rubber tubing to prevent damage to items held by the clamps. The adjustability of mounting plates, wires or components is unparalleled. They are available in different lengths to give you the best working angle. I literally stumbled across this system by looking at random Amazon items that were "customer viewed". So I ordered it for fun, now I feel like I wasted money on my 3 other dual clamp wrist rests. I wish I had found that first. Excellent work!
