The pillow is comfortable. Provides excellent lumbar support. The straps are widely adjustable to accommodate almost any chair width or thickness. The main problem is that the cushion is so thick that it takes up about 30% of the depth of the chair. It feels like I literally have to sit on the edge of my seat, which is pretty uncomfortable. I've tried it on my office chair, car seat, and rocking chair at home. The same result for all three - the pillow took up too much space. Tried it out on a friend's chair who didn't really need any extra support, but his chair is HUGE. It worked there. So, I think if you have a big and deep stool, you might be fine. I sent it back and bought a round pillow about 5 inches in diameter. It seems to work.
