Came rusted - my new review

Where to start? The box itself did not come in a great condition it seemed like a part had been opened. Anyways to my surprise the equipment itself was neatly packed with the special foam material they use for shipping. One thing though I did notice a package that contains bolts, screws etc was opened and some parts were just all over the box. I was missing one of things I needed because it probably fell out but it wasn't such a big deal. One thing I can tell you everything included like the screws, etc is exact. That means it does not include any extras! Anyways I started building the eliptical machine by myself and eventhough I enjoy building stuff it was kind of frustrating since there are a lot of little steps, things you have to put. It did take me a while. The instructions were very helpful. During the process of building it I noticed the inside of the tubes were rusted! I have a picture to prove it. How can this be rusted if I bought it new! That means it has been exposed to water most likely and I probably received a used product! 😡 I had already started building it so I continued. Had trouble connecting certain areas in the bottom but was fixed with the lube! I can tell you now the minimal lube they sent was not enough. So one of my family members had a better one and I used that one after finishing the one they sent. Once I completed it it looked nice. Its great for small spaces. My room is not very big but I do need this to lose weight. Anyways once I started using it it was squeaking and I was wondering why? if I had used all the lube they sent on the top area that's attached to were the bars move. Obviously it was not enough so my brother helped me and fixed that by adding some type of lubricant. Also once I had finished the large principal bar on the middle felt shaky like it was loose. I kept thinking how is this loose, I used all the equipment they provided to tighten everything up? So then I was lucky enough to have my brother help with this part and told me he was going to bring his electrical power tool to tighten it up because manually it would not do it. After he helped me fix that I got on it again and tried it for a minute or two and it worked perfectly. There was no squeaky noise and it was not loose. I haven't actually got to exercise on it yet but I'm looking forward to this week. I will also contact the manufacturer because they sent me rusted material. Another thing I can tell you a couple of areas of the tubing had been dented I'm guessing because of the shipping. Didn't think it was a big deal for me as long as it does not affect the function. For example the part of the metal tube that holds the box that counts the time etc, the back was dented and it made it difficult for me to put the screw so I did it as best as I could. I did enjoy the instructions they were very helpful without them I don't think I could have built this myself.

Pros
  • This elliptical machine operates smoothly and almost silently, making it an ideal choice for home use without disturbing others in the household
Cons
  • The machine may not be as sturdy or durable as more expensive models, which can be off-putting for those looking to invest in a long-term fitness solution
