Review on Sconces Temperature Adjustable Bathroom Brightness by Jasmine Harris

Mixed feelings, there are definitely disadvantages

They have some disadvantages, which should be considered before buying: * The temperature does not have a switch on the cable. They change temperature every time they are turned on and off. That means if you turn them on in the morning and see them tanning, and then turn them on at night, they'll be blindingly white. If you need a specific temperature, you have to turn it on and off several times until you get the color you want. It's really weird. Every time I turn them on I feel like I'm playing roulette because I have no idea what color they are*. The dimming function is a joke. The switch on the cable has no dimming function. There is only on and off. I suspect they mean you can plug them onto a diode switch and based on what we saw in the box that might be true because they are oddly designed for LEDs. So note that you will need to provide a dimmer switch separately and I'm not 100% sure it will work, but there is a non-zero chance. In general, they look neat. They are very bright, just what I needed. And since they don't have an exposed bulb, they work pretty well for our bedside lamps. We plan to put them back in so they don't change temperature every time they're turned off. Maybe we'll add a dimmer then.

Pros
  • LED light source
Cons
  • Big and bulky
