I purchased the 100 ft solar lights for my new patio cover. I do not have electricity near the cover so I needed solar lights. My cover is 16x20 and the 100 ft was more than enough long to go around. One side has double lights but it’s perfect because it’s right over the BBQ area. The patio cover is alumawood so I used the alumahooks that slide in the grooves of the roof so no holes needed in my new cover. The lights are lightweight and went up easily. I placed the solar panel on top of the roof and waited for the sun to go down. I was worried the lights would automatically come on which I didn’t want. As it got dark I turned the lights on with the remote and it worked flawlessly. The lights are not super bright like my plug in ones I have under the patio cover closer to the house but that’s ok because it is the perfect amount of light by the swimming pool. The remote works well I used it clear across my yard and had no problems. I’m very pleased with these lights I think they are awesome!Update on lights they stopped working after 3 weeks the solar panel will not charge anymore either by sun or plugging in. Very disappointed
