The LED light strip worked great to move the lighting behind my LED TV. Double sided tape has been applied to the back of the strip, but there is another roll of tape in the kit just in case. Although it has many colors, dark/fading/flashing patterns, I used a plain solid white. As a note to other Sony Bravia owners, the USB ports on my Sony Bravia TV are shaky. It powers the strip, but when the TV is off, the power to the USB port lasts 15-20 minutes and then turns off. Then from time to time he would turn the USB port back on for a few minutes and then turn it off. Because of this, the LED strip turns on regularly. To prevent this, I have to manually turn off the LED strip by holding the center button when I'm done watching TV. That's fine for me since my TV is easily accessible, but I see it as a problem for people who can't access the light bar behind their TV. It's not about the LED strip, it's about how the Sony Bravia TV manages power delivery from the USB port.
