Product NOT as advertised

If the product worked it would be great. I received it and the installation instructions are very short and vague. It prompts you to remove the tape from the back of the lightstrip and when I did it wasn't sticky and wouldn't install. What it doesn't tell you is that the tape already on the light strip is double sided tape, so carefully remove just the outer paper on the tape. I have a feeling this is a common problem as there is an extra strip of double sided tape in the box. Once I figuredโ€ฆ

Great light bar but be careful when using it with Sony Bravia TVs.

The LED light strip worked great to move the lighting behind my LED TV. Double sided tape has been applied to the back of the strip, but there is another roll of tape in the kit just in case. Although it has many colors, dark/fading/flashing patterns, I used a plain solid white. As a note to other Sony Bravia owners, the USB ports on my Sony Bravia TV are shaky. It powers the strip, but when the TV is off, the power to the USB port lasts 15-20 minutes and then turns off. Then from time to timeโ€ฆ

Exactly what I was looking for!

I wanted to add some more light and color to my desktop so I installed them on the back of the monitor. They came with an extra roll of tape but I didn't need it as there is more than enough self-adhesive backing on the strip itself. This strip was long enough to span my 24 inch widescreen monitor on three sides. You have to bend the corners a bit, but that worked well. The corners stick out a bit, of course, but you never see them behind the screen. Monitor. Bright (just right in my opinionโ€ฆ
