I ordered this laptop stand for distance learning. I can put it on my desk, plug my laptop into a fan (which keeps it cool), and work while standing. The stand is adjustable and adapts to your height. I'm quite tall and this works for me. You can also tilt the stand if you prefer the laptop at an angle for typing. It has a detachable edge to keep your device from slipping off and a palm rest that controls the mouse. It is excellent. I recommended it to two other teachers and they ended up buying it. I also take it with me on my teaching wagon when I visit other classes. While I'm talking to my class and doing my presentation, the laptop or iPad is at the right height so I don't have to bend down all day. This is a great giveaway if you don't need a permanent desktop set-top box or mobility. I just wish it came in black or gray.
