Love how soft the filling is and light enough to use in the summer. Maybe even in winter as my wife and I sleep hot. It has some great little rings to tie it to the lid and it works great. I really have no complaints about it for these purposes and I've washed it with no problems. Well, if you want your bed turned down, that's a different story. It's more than thick enough to use as a blanket, but from the outside it's sooooo uncomfortable and cheap. It's like the polyester on a cheap sleeping bag. But for around $30 I think they had to cut corners somewhere. My real duvet was too hot and worked great as a summer duvet so don't be shy if you catch them on sale. It really isn't as flimsy as some say and is the perfect soft filler.
