Review on 🐠 biOrb Classic Fish Tank by Kent Page

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice little aquarium - my betta loves it!

Great tank, easy to install. 15 is only 4 gallons so finding a heater that won't overheat the tank is very difficult. After some experimentation and constant monitoring, I've found that the 7.5W flat Aqueon works well and keeps the temperature between 78-80 degrees when the room air is around 70-71. I've seen reviews that said there weren't enough rocks on the floor, but I was okay with that because there were enough to cover the filter. I didn't want to cover the filter because it would make cleaning more difficult. You can look at the photos and decide what is right for you. There are two things that are disappointing about this tank: 1- The safety tube is not included and costs $7 which I think should be an included safety feature. 2 - my fault but I didn't read the description carefully and accidentally bought a model with standard LEF headlights which are really bright and don't dim at night. It was excruciating to buy special flashlights for another $50 but it was worth it. If you are buying I would recommend getting the MCR LED model and upgrading to the 8 gallon model if you have room for it. This will make it easier to maintain water temperature and find the heater. When using it on chickens, the flow of bubbles can be slowed with a binding clip, although mine doesn't seem to bother me that much. I usually slow him down at night so he can sleep peacefully. My Betta loves it. If you have Bettas I would also recommend a Betta hammock and some type of den for them. Mine loves to lounge and swim among us.
