I don't normally write product reviews but this product is just AMAZING. I was trying to remove a thick coating from my 1960's ranch house. Washing with hot and cold air did not help. After several different tests we found that the best combination for our specific needs is the spatula application. Apply Dumond paper for 24 hours, then scrape off. Now the over 1/4 thick coating comes off easily like butter and has been removed in the concrete block mortar lines as well. I then used a hot water pressure washer to remove any residue from the surface of the concrete block and am now ready to apply a fresh coat of primer/paint and new stonework. Again, an absolutely amazing product, but it really works best with a heavy application (ink rollers weren't enough to cover / elastomer or other paint in my house), Dumond paper, and enough time to work.
