I use this type of glove in any cold weather, from moderate to extreme. The basic design is the same as all pairs I have. The material looks cheap. They seem to shed water but are too uncomfortable to even try. The seams dig into the ankles. They are very poorly matched to the size of the fingers. Maybe I got a pair made by a new guy. If there was any quality control, it was overlooked on this pair. The little finger of the right hand is like a tourniquet, and the middle finger of the left hand is tightened. Try a different brand.
