Fast and cheap way to speed up

Installed in a 5 year old USB 3.0 only device. Previously, the 1TB external ScanDisk only had read/write speeds of 457/438. Had to connect to C connector on ScanDisk and C&gt;A adapter to connect to computer (there are no C sockets on this unit. After installing this card and connecting to a C&gt;C cable gets it 1683/1722 - yes it does) writes slightly faster than reads in all categories. You can't beat a simple and inexpensive ($50) upgrade to one of our older devices.

Pros
